Canadian / American artist telling stories through visual, poetic imagery, motion picture film, music, and creative direction. As the daughter of Algerian and Tunisian immigrants, I am drawn to sharing the stories of marginalized peoples and communities.
I live between Chicago and NYC, working as an artist across photography, music, and art direction. My photography has been featured in British and Italian Vogue, and I'm the founder of Mouna Zuhra, a fine art photography studio specializing in analogue (film) + super 8 motion picture film. As a musician, I work with my manager Quincy at Birthaus and creative Amara at Malaak media. I also serve on the Young Professionals 'Underground' Board at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, supporting the next generation of arts patrons in the city.
